Today I wanted to look more at some career information out there - many people I know have been laid off in the pandemic environment and many others who rely on companies that are suffering in the pandemic are not getting the same jobs, etc. So times are tough. Sometimes we need to take a break, look at our situation and remember a few things:
We're never too old to learn something new
Perhaps there are things out there that may be more rewarding!
We are NOT what we DO - so we can always change what we DO, but not always change who WE ARE. Think through that when considering new alternatives
The world is FULL of opportunity even if we can't see it at first
Never be too proud to ask for help
Be courageous - take risks and get out of your comfort zone (I have huge challenges with this in my own life - but what's the worst that can happen???)
Don't compromise your soul...

7 Tips to Finding Purpose and Meaning: https://www.verywellmind.com/tips-for-finding-your-purpose-in-life-4164689#:~:text=Finding%20Purpose%20Is%20the%20Key%20to%20Living%20Your%20Best%20Life&text=However%2C%20even%20those%20who%20can,that%20will%20never%20be%20fulfilled.
The purpose and meaning is a big one. I'll leave this one with a bit of what is helping me through this time where events are cancelled, postponed, people are laid off, etc. Finding meaning can be easier when we allow our creator to guide us a bit more as we see in Jeremiah talking about the exile under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon - even in times of great uncertainty, when things are so confusing, we can take comfort that God has a plan that will be revealed to us when the time is right.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13 ESV)"
