Some Good News
Every once in a while I just need to go to a Good News site like Good News Network. Here's a story about a place that is helping to restore and redeem more than just bottles. Ex cons and felons can now work at this waste recycling center to help turn waste into useable natural gas. Not only does the program help the environment, but those working at the facility are much less likely to return to crime (23% verus over 60% averages nationally).

Some Good News in COVID Treatment?
WHO cites a new study showing the positive treatment implications for those who are requiring ventilators to battle COVID. A steroid used in the 60's called dexamethasone has shown potential to reduce deaths of hospitalized COVID patients by a third (of those on ventilators) and by as much as a fifth of those requiring oxygen. Still early, the WHO is encouraging doctors to use it and they will help with the meta analysis. While this is an initial study, it is good to hear that there may be other treatment options to help treat those who are in the worst condition.
Reason #14 I love America Leading Up To July 4
America's National Park System: The National Park System was founded in 1916 and houses some of the best natural treasures our country has. It's still a bucket list for me, but I'd like to see at least half of this country's top 10 national parks before I die...God willing, it will be so :)
Some quick things you may or may not have known. It employs 20,000 employees, and isn't just the big OUTDOOR parks, sometimes it has other important cultural landmarks (like Alcatraz, Lincoln Memorial, Golden Gate, etc.). In 2019, over 300 million visits happened at National Parks (over 1.4 billion hours).
